Moodle Quizzes in General

Moodle quizzes come in two parts: a question bank and the quiz itself. You create questions in the question bank, then you create and configure a quiz ("Edit settings") for when to open/close it, feedback options, marking values, etc. In a separate view ("Edit quiz") you define which questions should be drawn from the question bank and used in the quiz.

Scenario

Typically, first you create the questions in the question bank, then you set up the quiz. It is possible to create questions within a quiz, but then the question is tied to that quiz only and cannot be used anywhere else. This practice is not recommended.
